Mindmapping

For those of you who are interested in learning a little more about this very useful technique, here is a brief overview and some useful resources.

This technique was developed by Tony Buzan, who defines it as "an expression of radiant thinking. It is a powerful graphical technique to unlocking the potential of the human brain. It has 4 essential components:-

• A central subject
• Themes that radiate from it
• Branches using key words
• The branches form a connected nodal structure"

It uses a mixture of words, colours, and pictures to capture, communicate and inspire. It mimics the interconnected nature of the brains structure.
